    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for application support for Centers Plan for Healthy Living (CPHL) core systems (e.g, Medical Management, Claim, Data Warehouse, etc).  Reviews and resolve staff issue related to applications. Monitor jobs and file transfers to ensure they are successful and resolve any issues by working with vendors when applicable.

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide application support and trouble shoot incoming issues, determine root cause of the issue and participate in the development of the solution.
    • User setup of new accounts, termination of accounts and password resets.
    • Liaison with vendors for application issues.
    • Manage file transfers between systems.
    • Review error reports, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Participates in standing meetings as necessary, including bit not limited to data warehouse, medical management system, claims system and team building.
    • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by manager.

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    Education

    Required:  BA/BS degree in Information Systems or equivalent IT experience

    Preferred:

     

    Type of Experience

    Required:  1+ years of IT experience, preferably in a Medicaid/Medicare, MLTC environment

    Preferred:  Healthcare experience

     

    Specific Technical Skills

    Required:  Proficiency with MS applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Access.  Strong telephonic and customer service skills.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Effective presentation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization

    • Must be service orientated, quick learner, team player
    • Appreciation of cultural diversity
