Centers Plan for Healthy Living (CPHL), is a Managed Care Organization servicing members with Medicare and/or Medicaid.  Our goal is to provide members and all those involved in their care with the guidance and health plan choices they need for healthy living. CPHL is committed to providing quality, coordinated health care to some of the most honored and yet still vulnerable members of our community.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

Vendor Specialist will provide oversight of assigned delegated contracted vendors for all CPHL Products. The oversight includes relationship management, contract implementation, analysis and monitoring in accordance with CPHL operational and service goals.

  • Accountability for oversight and management of vendor contracts
  • Assist Director of Vendor Management with all Vendor Audits review
  • Follows up on and facilitates communication between vendors and CPHL to identify and resolve issues and concerns, as well as to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing day to day operations for all activities related to the vendor contracts and optimizing contract performance.
  • Ensures assigned vendors and self-work practices operate within established compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Identify new opportunities for vendor engagement.
  • Recommend changes, updates and workflow process enhancements for continuous improvement and streamlining.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Administration, Health Policy, or related discipline required.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Managed Care Organization(s), Provider Relations, Vendor Management and/or Account Management and knowledge of provider contracting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
