JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for initiating and leading talent acquisition efforts to include full life cycle recruiting, developing and executing a broad-based sourcing strategy, and ultimately delivering a viable talent pipeline for the business. Responsibilities will also include tracking and reporting on key metrics, driving process improvements, leading recruiting and HR effectiveness initiatives, and building a strong relationship with functional HR leaders, business leaders, and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and implement talent sourcing strategies that include (but are not limited to) monitoring applicant traffic flow from posted job requisitions on our company’s website and other social media job board channels, proactive web-based searching through our applicant tracking system and other talent pool platforms, building relationships with key job-specific and industry-relevant schools and professional organizations/associations and their members, and producing recruitment marketing products that will attract passive talent.
  • Develop social media and other creative and effective sourcing strategies to reach high quality candidates for the best ROI.
  • Serve as the interface between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Foster a positive, professional interviewing experience for candidates.
  • Deliver prompt follow up and feedback to candidates in the interview process.
  • Build a network with relevant industry, professional, or other groups to create a pipeline of talent.
  • Extend, negotiate, and close offers.
  • Ensures compliance with proper hiring practices by remaining abreast of employment laws impacting the recruitment function

  • Two to seven years of recruitment and/or staffing experience in a professional fast-paced environment.
  • Must have working experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Must have experience recruiting non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Experience employing a variety of recruitment approaches to achieve recruiting objectives (e.g., online media, referral programs, events, social networking).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization as well as with vendors.
  • Must be organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects & deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively partner, lead and communicate with a variety of individuals throughout the organization.
