JOB SUMMARY:

 

Fulfills member needs and sends correspondences to ensure member satisfaction.  Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures. Has knowledge of all LOBs, scripts, and workflows-or is able to obtain information rapidly as needed.  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  Works under immediate supervision.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handles incoming calls.
  • Performs outbound calls (Welcome calls, OEV calls).
  • Meets or exceeds company and client performance metrics.
  • Maintains phone and contact logs and documents call details as appropriate.
  • Schedule and/or cancel appointments and complete outcome assessments. Communicate with Intake and Enrollment to ensure delivery of services with plan.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of assigned products/markets and the applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Responsible for call disposition or compiling and generating reports as required.

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:  High School Diploma - some college preferred

 

Knowledge:

  • Detail orientated, fast learner, and excellent communication skills. Possess technical ability to use phone and computer system.
  • 1+ years' experience in customer service/call center background in Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
