    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Quality Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the overall direction, coordination and implementation of the QM program for CPHL, including, but not limited to UAS Reporting and coordination, as well as Clinical Management Operational reporting support and analysis; aimed at improving Quality of Care and Quality of Service.  This will include the collection, management and analysis of quality data, and preparation of quality reports. The Quality Management Analyst will provide staff support to the Quality Management Committee and Clinical/Medical Leadership in matters of Quality Improvement and Management.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    • Provide support relative to improving overall quality of care/service through the development, collection, analysis and management of Quality Improvement, UAS, and Clinical Management Operational reports and studies
    • Provide ongoing support relative to data extraction, data collection and validation
    • Utilizes data collection and analysis to develop and prepare quality reports
    • Serve as a liaison for internal and external Stakeholders for issues related to Quality Improvement
    • Attends the Quality Management Committee, Subcommittee and other meetings as directed to provide support, education and/or guidance on Quality Improvement initiatives and standards, performs requested follow up activities
    • Provides support to CPHL Clinical and Operational leadership on Quality Improvement initiatives and standards
    • Provides assistance with Ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives including, but not limited to compliance monitoring and feedback
    • Assists in identifying opportunities and avenues to best monitor and track Quality Improvement initiatives
    • Utilizes project management skills to assist Quality Management Department in ensuring completion of projects and deliverables
    • Participate in ongoing development of clinical data repository and dashboard reporting
    • Utilizes knowledge of CPHL’s Clinical Software systems functionality and data capture and storage to enhance collection, analysis, and reporting of Quality Management data
    • Ability to understand regulatory Quality reporting requirements and assist in design, development and production of necessary reports
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

     

    Qualifications

     

    Education and Experience:

     

    Education

     

    Preferred:

    Four year degree in health care or relatable business field degree

     

     

     

    Type of Experience                                          

    Preferred:

    A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the health care industry with demonstrated knowledge of data collection, extraction, organization, compilation and management, as well as reports development, utilizing clinical Care/Utilization Management and related software.

     

     

    Specific Technical Skills

    Proficient use of MS Office, MS Office Excel, Report writing software

    Knowledge of Clinical Software applications specific to CPHL

    • Excellent communication, organization and writing skills
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Knowledge of and skills in data collection, analysis and presentation
    • Excellent oral presentation skills
    • Must demonstrate integrity, sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to address quality issues with tact and diploma
    • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and work in a team environment
