    Centers Plan for Healthy Living is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst

    Responsibilities

     

    • Provide insightful clinical, financial and operational analyses for the healthplan’s leadership and other decision makers.
    • Collaborate in evaluating the clinical and economic impacts of various quality improvement and cost reduction interventions.
    • Utilize advanced querying techniques with data warehouse and cubes.
    • Work with advanced graphic tools, including dashboards and other visual displays, to provide clear and insightful views of performance.
    • Work with users to identify reporting needs, define report specifications, and produce reports that help guide business decisions.
    • Attend meetings as needed to elicit information needs and ensure appropriate interpretations.
    • Conduct detailed audits, quality reviews, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
    • Develop processes and reports that can be turned over to end-users’ control whenever possible.

     

    • Manage file transfers between systems.

     

    • Review error reports for the data warehouse loads and other file transfers and interfaces, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Analyze systems and suggest changes for the purpose of enhancing reporting.
    • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by manager.

    Qualifications

     

    BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Finance or equivalent experience  

     

    3+ years of IT or reporting experience

    Healthcare experience in a Medicaid/Medicare, MLTC environment preferred

     

    Specific Technical Skills

    Use of SQL, Reporting Tools, such as Crystal and SQL Server Reporting Services, Proficiency with MS applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project and Access

    Strong telephonic and customer service skills

     

     

                

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

    ·         Effective presentation skills

    ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    ·         Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization

    ·         Detail oriented, excellent follow up

    ·         Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

    ·         Must be service oriented, quick learner, team player

    ·         Appreciation of cultural diversity
