    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Assistant Director (AD) of Intake Support oversees the daily operations of Intake support staff, a team of nearly 60 non-clinical staff responsible for effectively onboarding members into Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC). Intake Support operations includes scheduling RN visits for MLTC prospects, completion of authorizations for newly enrolled members, and the timely and compliant completion of CDPAS documentation for both newly enrolled and active members. The AD is responsible for departmental oversight and productivity, timely reporting on quality and productivity, maintenance of departmental infrastructure, and developing the managerial and supervisory capacity of direct reports.

     

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    • Oversight of non-clinical staff, including hiring/terming if needed, and anticipating growth or future changes that may impact staffing needs.
    • Maintain effective reports for tracking quality and productivity.
    • Ensure effective onboarding, training and ongoing education of staff.
    • Draft and update Policies and Procedures as needed.
    • Maintain knowledge of MRT 90 policies and make changes as needed.
    • Ensure that workflows match regulatory standards.
    • Other assignments and duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

     

    Education

    Required:   Bachelors’ degree in related field, Masters’ degree preferred and minimum of two years experience

    Preferred:   

     

     

    Type of Experience                                          

    Required:   Managerial experience in a fast-paced work environment meeting high quality standards

    Preferred:   Healthcare administration experience

     

    Specific Technical Skills

    Required:   Excel

    Preferred:    Case Trakker knowledge

     

    Certifications/Licensure:

    Required:    NA

                

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent Excel knowledge
    • Medicaid/Medicare knowledge
