    Position Summary


    The position will work closely with Compliance Department, the Security Officer, Facilities and Information Systems department to develop and maintain security policies and procedures.  The analyst will be responsible for ensuring procedures are being followed and auditing procedures for compliance. This position is also responsible for identifying areas of improvements.



    • Maintain current and appropriate knowledge of information security regulations and their application within a health plan. 
    • Develop, implement and monitor information security requirements, policies, and compliance.
    • Oversee regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing, document gaps, develop remediation plans and manage their execution.
    • Conduct regular audits and track results to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and identify any gaps.



    BA/BS degree in Information Systems or equivalent IT experience  


    Skills & Trainings:

    Use of MS applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, Strong documentation skills



    Understanding of Information Systems, Hipaa and Security.  Experience writing procedures.  Effective presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization.  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  Must be service oriented, quick learner, team player and detail oriented.
