    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Member Services Supervisor assists the department in monitoring, coaching and developing member services representative on a daily basis. Expected to be subject matter expert in at least one of the following health options MLTC, FIDA, Medicare, Advantage. Supervisor will lead a team of member service agents and also assist in the development, implementation, coordination, and supervision required to maintain an efficient call center operation. Works under general supervision.

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    •  Coach and develop member services representative on health plan options.
    • Ensures Reps are properly trained on program updates and changes.
    • Email, staffing. Handle/diffuse escalated call situations from members/participants.
    • Take calls as needed.
    • Work with leadership team and report team members to meet and exceed established call center goals.
    • Maintain strong Knowledge of assigned products/markets and the applicable state and feral regulations. Draft and deliver employee performance evaluations (semi-annual/annual).

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

     

    Education

     

    Required:   High School Diploma

    Preferred:    Some College

     

     

    Type of Experience                                          

    Required:   1 plus years in customer service/call center.

    Preferred:  Experience in the healthcare field

    Specific Technical Skills

    Preferred:   

     

    Certifications/Licensure:

    Required:    

                

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Multi-tasking, time management, extensive knowledge of call center operations.
    • Minimum three years of experience in business operations required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

     

     

     

    Preferred:

    • ·Prior supervisory experience or experience in a lead capacity.
