    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    Oversees, coordinates, plans and organizes the day-to-day operations and administrative matters to support the goals and objectives of the Network Contracting Department.

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Draft and negotiate amendments & addendums to physician, hospital and ancillary contracts.
    • Assist in development of proposal for new business as it relates to the provider network.
    • Maintains files and documentation logs for providers that are in the process of being contracted.
    • Resolve provider contracting inquiries regarding contracting process, policies, procedures and fee schedules.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


    Required: High School Diploma
    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or another related field, or the equivalent preferred.


    Knowledge and Skills:


    • Minimum of three years progressive administrative, business or office experience required. Advanced personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required.
    • Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required.
    • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment required


    Specific Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
